How to Add a Picture to a Blogger Header

Blogger offers a comprehensive content management system that allows users to change the design and layout of the blog. One of the many design options available is to add a picture or graphic to the blog header. Adding a picture to the header on your blog can improve the design and make it stand out from the crowd.

Steps To Follows

1. Launch your Web browser and log into your Blogger account. This opens the blog's Dashboard.

2. Click the "Design" link under the title of the blog that you want to change.

3. Click "Edit HTML" from the menu bar. Scroll through the HTML code to find the width of the header. You should find this in the section labeled "Header" in the HTML code. Look for the code that reads

"#header-wrapper {width:600px;" -- the header width in this example is 600 pixels. This means that the image you import for the header cannot be wider than 600 pixels. If the image is wider than this, crop it or shrink its size in your graphics program.

4. Click the "Page Elements" tab on the Blogger Design menu.

5. Click the "Edit" button within the header element on the "Page Elements" display. This opens a new window for the design of the blog header.

Select how you want the image to display by clicking the relevant checkbox. You can choose to place the image behind the blog's title and description, or replace the title and description with the image.

6. Click "Browse" to upload an image from your computer. Find and double-click your chosen image to upload it into the Blogger header.
